The delegation of the National Audit Office from the Republic of Bulgaria under the lead of its president prof. Valeriy Dimitrov visited Slovenia from May 18-20, 2006 at the invitation of the Slovenian president Igor Šoltes. President Dimitrov held several talks with the president Šoltes, deputy president Zoran Mladenovič and supreme state auditors Andreja Jerina, MA and Valenka Suhadolnik, MA. Several topics were presented to president Dimitrov with the key emphasis on the position and the programme of work of the Court of Audit. Supreme state auditor Andreja Jerina, MA presented the statistics in the field of the EU financial resources audits while supreme state auditor Valenka Suhadolnik, MA spoke about medical protection audits.
