Following the initiative of the President of the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of the Czech Republic Miloslav Kala, the President of the SAI Slovenia Jana Ahčin undertook a visit to the SAI Czech Republic in Prague between 27 February and 1 March 2023. Opened up were discussions on cooperation at the bilateral level and within EUROSAI, which is currently presided over by the SAI Czech Republic, as well as debates on future activities of the two institutions (including the upcoming V4+2 Group meeting that will be hosted by the SAI Czech Republic this year, the meeting of the Contact Committee and the 30th anniversary celebration).
The working meetings were participated by the Director of the Audit Section, Director of the System Support for Audits Department, Director of the Performance Audit Department and IT expert – Data analyst, and provided an opportunity to share their audit work, knowledge and experience. They also informed the Slovenian delegation about the details on the EUROSAI presidency and presented the BIEP Portal, a platform of audit materials. The President of the SAI Slovenia, however, shared experience from the field of computerisation of processes, data analysis, approaches to mandatory audits implementation and visualisation of audit reports.
