The visit of the President of the Court of Auditors Vitor Manuela da Silva Caldeira and his delegation began at the Court of Audit, where the two Presidents first had tete-a-tete discussion, which was followed by talks, held by the two delegations, where both members of President Caldeira's delegation, both Members of the Court of Audit as well as all the six Auditors General of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia joined in.

Presidents firstly presented the functioning of the two institutions they head, whereby President Caldeira especially laid stress on priorities and goals, which his institution seeks to attain, concentrating on its contribution to assuring greater transparency in the use of EU funds, and on the role of Supreme State Audit Institutions in respect to the world economic crisis.
Plenary talks of both delegation
The plenary talks were followed by the reception of the Mayor of the City of Ljubljana Zoran Janković and the signing of the Golden Book of the City of Ljubljana.

In the afternoon President of the Court of Auditors Caldeira will meet the President of the Republic of Slovenia Dr Danilo Türk.
