The V Conference EUROSAI/OLACEFS that will take place in Portugal from 9 to 11 May is organised by the EUROSAI / OLACEFS that enable the co-operation of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Europe and Latin America. The participants of the conference shall discuss the following themes: fiscal sustainability, accountability and presentation of accounts.
The President of the Court of Audit, Mr Igor Šoltes, and the First Deputy President, Mr Tomaž Vesel, shall attend the conference. The official inauguration of the Conference will be hosted by the Portuguese President, Mr Anibal Cavaco Silva. The participants shall be addressed by the President of the Portuguese SAI, Mr Martins, the President of the EUROSAI, Mr Dieter Engels, and the President of the OLACEFS, Mr Rafael Hernan Contreras. On 10 May the President of the Court of Audit, Mr Igor Šoltes, shall give a presentation on transparency, accountability and accounting bases. On 11 May he will be involved in the adoption of the conclusions and recommendations.
The organisations EUROSAI in OLACEFS continue with the successful co-operation between the institutions by exchanging experience, implementing joint audits and technical assistance.
The conference shall be attended by more than 120 participants from 29 European and Latin American countries.
