Signing ceremony of partners in the International Fraud Awareness Week 2022

On 11 October 2022, there was a signing ceremony within the preparations for the International Fraud Awareness Week for the fourth year in a row. It signifies the commitment to cooperate in a common fight against fraud and corruption.

President of the Court of Audit Jana Ahčin signed the Agreement on Cooperation in the International Fraud Awareness Week 2022, thereby the Court of Audit joined other partners that share the common objective of exchanging best practice and raising awareness of interested stakeholders in order to reduce negative impacts of frauds, corruption and other forms of economic crime in our environment. In the period following the COVID-19 pandemic there was an increase in deceitfulness especially in the field of cyber-attacks, identity theft and other modern-day fraud.

Within the International Fraud Awareness Week 2022, held between 14 and 8 November 2022, there were several events planned to highlight these issues.
