Presentation of findings of the OECD: Digital Government Review of Slovenia

Experts of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) completed a two-year preparation process of a comprehensive digital government review of Slovenia. The final document was presented to all participating stakeholders from Slovenia at the closing webinar on 27 September 2021 which was organised in cooperation with the Information Society and Informatics Directorate at the Ministry of Public Administration. Among more than 50 participants, there were also representatives of the Court of Audit.

The document focuses on the need for better leading and coordination of digital transformation of public sector, cooperation among various stakeholders within and outside public sector, importance of coordinated preparation of new strategic documents, promotion of digital skills among employees and general public, development of services in cooperation with end users, and on integrated strategic data management, which may altogether improve transparency and improve confidence in the public sector.
