Meeting between the ODIHR Election Observation Mission and the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia

Experts of the Election Observation Mission (EOM) of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) again called on the Court of Audit to convene a meeting to assess the implementation of the 2026 elections to the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia. Supreme State Auditor Luka Ramovš and his Deputy Supreme State Auditor mag. Maša Železnik presented the role and activities of the Court of Audit pertaining to the implementation of mandatory regularity audits of financing election campaigns. The discussion focused on several pending issues as regards regulatory framework, including the challenges that the Court of Audit faces when conducting its auditing powers.
