The First Deputy President Tomaž Vesel and the Supreme State Auditor Dr Miroslav Kranjc visited Spanish Court of Audit at the invitation of its president Ubaldo Nieto de Alba. Mr Vesel and Dr Kranjc met the president de Alba and the member of Senate Javier Medino Guijar. Both parties exchanged views and opinions of the composition and competencies of their institutions in creative and friendly atmosphere. Historical and social conditions contributed to considerable differences between the Slovene and Spanish SAI, agreed Mr Vesel and Mr de Alba. Spanish Court of Audit has the role of actual court, it passes sentences and fines; members of the Senate are heads of courts.
