On 12 March 2026, the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia hosted the delegation from the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Croatia. Croatian delegation, led by the Deputy Auditor General dr. Nediljka Rogošić, was received by the President of the Court of Audit Jana Ahčin who expressed satisfaction with traditionally good relations and pointed out the importance of further professional cooperation between the institutions.
The event continued with a bilateral working meeting that was intended to exchange experiences on audit work performed by both institutions and to discuss topical issues. The representatives of the Court of Audit demonstrated how their own application uses artificial intelligence to support the implementation of audit procedures and shared experiences related to the use of IDEA – a data analysis software used for computer-aided audit techniques. The presentation was the continuation of the exchange of experiences following the visit of auditors from SAI Croatia in 2024.
The representatives of SAI Croatia shared their experiences and best practice, while all gathered exchanged their views on other possibilities of further cooperation. Alongside the meeting, the delegation of SAI Croatia presented the activities of the EUROSAI Network for Ethics (N.ET), an online permanent platform of the European organisation of SAIs that is managed by SAI Croatia in cooperation with SAI Portugal.
