Appointment of new Supreme State Auditor Luka Ramovš

President of the Court of Audit Jana Ahčin appointed the new Supreme State Auditor Luka Ramovš. On 1 December 2025, he officially obtained the mandate of nine years, thus taking over the office of a supreme state auditor responsible for managing the audit department covering IT audits, audits of sustainable development and audits of political parties and election and referendum campaigns.

About the new Supreme State Auditor:

Luka Ramovš graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. Since 2014, he has been serving at the Court of Audit, where he gained experiences as Auditor and later as Deputy Supreme State Auditor, mainly engaged in audits concerning local self-government, political parties and sustainable development. In December 2025, he was appointed Supreme State Auditor.
