3rd meeting of the OECD Auditors Alliance

On 23 September 2020, the Auditors Alliance of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) held the 3rd meeting which should have taken place already in March in Paris. The purpose of this time viral meeting with the title Audit Innovation in Times of Crisis was to explore the impact of the pandemic on audit innovation and reflect on the valuable lessons we can take from the management of the COVID-19 crisis for the future.

The event was participated by more than 280 representatives from across the public sector auditing profession, including internal audit bodies and internal audit organisations, Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) and SAI organisations, sub-national internal and external audit entities, as well as international organisation audit bodies.

During the meeting, new online platform where members of the Auditors Alliance community can connect and share case studies, analyses and opinions has been launched.

The OECD Auditors Alliance is a unique forum for public sector internal and external auditors to share insights and expertise on their audit practices.
