The Court of Audit continues to participate in the educational project of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana within the framework of legal clinics, namely on the topics of transparency and integrity in public and private sectors, as well as on the issues of public procurement, concessions and public private partnerships. In this regard, the Court of Audit provides theoretical and practical training for the students.
On 16 November 2023, the students of the Legal clinic, which includes ten partners from public and private sectors, heard a lecture about transparency and integrity in public and private sectors. In addition to presenting the work and authorities of the Slovenian Supreme Audit Institution, the representatives of the Court of Audit made considerable effort to actively involve the students in the process of learning about the work and competences of auditors, revealing them the details of the state auditing in an interactive way. The lecture stimulated a discussion on several dilemmas and challenges that the Court of Audit is facing. The participants were increasingly interested in sharing their thoughts and opinions about the role of the Court of Audit and exercising its auditing powers in the future.
