Supreme Audit Institutions of the Visegrad Group V4+2 in Budapest

In Budapest, there was an annual meeting of the heads of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Visegrad Group V4+2 regularly attended by the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia. Subject of the 25th meeting was related to activities of the SAIs in meeting the sustainable development goals: institutional capacity assessment and projects of information exchange, i.e. BIEP – Benchmarking Information Exchange Project. At the meeting, the topic of this year's Contact Committee meeting in Dubrovnik was addressed: Interaction with EU citizens – opening SAIs. Along with other topics the panel allowed for the exchange of experience and opinions on topical issues within V4+2 Group and wider.

The Court of Audit actively participated by presenting its own best practice in meeting sustainable development goals when carrying out audit work or its other tasks. Second Deputy president mag. Mojca Planinšek made the presentation thereof. The Court of Audit was also represented by Supreme State Auditor dr. Miroslav Kranjc and Head of the President's Cabinet dr. Dijana M. Zupanc. Next annual meeting of the V4+2 Group shall be hosted by the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia.
