A member of the European Court of Auditors (ECA) mag. Jorg Kristijan Petrovič presented the 2021 ECA Annual Report to the National Assembly and also to the Slovenian Court of Audit. The visit commenced with the meeting between the President of the Court of Audit Jana Ahčin and the ECA Member where they exchanged views related to future auditing approaches and the ECA plan of audits for the next year was presented. They touched upon the need to monitor the Recovery and resilience plan adopted by the EU Member States to mitigate the economic and social consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Namely, the system of investments and reforms shall have an important impact on the share of the public funds use in Slovenia as well as in other countries. The ECA Member discussed the annual report conclusions also with the officials and representatives of the Court of Audit.
