President of the Court of Audit, Tomaž Vesel, met with the President of VRI Poland, Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, at their headquarters in Warsaw (Najwyższa Izba Kontroli – NIK). The bilateral meeting took place before the annual meeting of the V4+2 Group (Visegrad countries (V4), Austria and Slovenia) and was also the opportunity for Mr Vesel to congratulate the SAI Poland for its 100th anniversary. In his speech, Mr Vesel pointed out the dedication of the SAI Poland experts who with their knowledge have been significantly contributing to the successful operations of the institution since 1919. SAI Poland has approximately 1.700 employees who fulfil the principles of independence, transparency and efficiency.
Both presidents exchanged their views on the format and content of the V4+2 meeting and harmonised basic topics to be discussed at the session hosted by the Slovenian Court of Audit on the premises of the SAI Poland.
