Agreement on Mutual Cooperation between the Court of Audit and the Police

President of the Court of Audit Jana Ahčin and acting Director General of the Police mag. Boštjan Lindav signed the Agreement on Mutual Cooperation between the Court of Audit and the Police.

The purpose of the agreement is to determine mutual cooperation between the Court of Audit and the Police in the field of all types of violations harmful to the financial interests of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union. Namely, detecting and investigating illegal use of funds from the State budget, local communities’ budgets or European funds foreseen for the programmes and projects co-financed from the European Union budget. The supervision involves all entities who are listed as public funds users under the Court of Audit Act.

The Court of Audit and the Police also cooperate by sharing the information and exchanging the information and organising joint meetings, as well as by offering professional assistance, courses, trainings and instructions.
