Accessibility

The content of the website of the Court of Audit is designed with the purpose to provide universal access to all of the published information – to anyone, at all times, and free of charge. Since the principle of universal access is limited by the health conditions of the users (i.e. visual, motion, hearing, cognitive and linguistic limitations) and technical limitations, we paid special attention to them and tried to adjust the website by considering the following recommendations:

  • font size may be adjusted,
  • key images are equipped with descriptions,
  • there are no moving pictures (GIFs),
  • names of the links are descriptive,
  • videos are mostly subtitled.

The website is optimised for multi-device browsing (computer, tablet, mobile phone) and compatible with different website browsers and software. Recommended is the use of the latest version of website browsers whenever it is possible to provide a better support to the users with disabilities and special needs.Despite the fact that we are aiming to increase the accessibility and usability of our website to the greatest extent possible, all the elements do not provide for the optimisation of the complete accessibility.

Therefore, some published contents do not meet all the demands related to accessibility as defined by the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act. Those deficiencies are:

  • we use PDF format for documents:
    • audit reports and other reports with short summaries that are available in text (doc and docx documents) and
    • various presentations (i.e. infographics, posters, manuals);
  • home page provides three elements with scroll box for automatic rotation with limited use of the manual override;
  • photographs and other images are used for visual supplementing of contents related to news and articles; photographs and images are subtitled, include data about source and alternative text, but do not include detailed descriptions or transcriptions of texts, since the adjustment would cause disproportionate burden;
  • schematic presentation of organisational structure of the Court of Audit;
  • documentation of concluded public calls was not adapted, since interference with public procurement documentation of completed public calls is not allowed; when preparing the next public call, we shall follow the standards of accessibility.

Jana Ahčin

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics. Has over 20 years of experience in leadership positions within public administration bodies. Worked for former National Financial Administration Service and its successors, actively participated in establishing the Agency for Public Legal Records and Related Services and the Public Payments Administration, as well as headed the Public Payments Administration by 2013. In the same year, assumed the post of Director-General at the Tax Administration of the Republic of Slovenia and in 2014 at the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia. In 2019, joined the Court of Audit as advisor to the President. In May 2022, awarded the title state auditor. In July 2022, appointed the President of the Court of Audit. mag. Maja Bilbija

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana and obtained masters degree at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor. Started a professional career as tax inspector, continued as state auditor, advisor in the field of finance and accounting, internal auditor and member of the National Review Commission. In December 2013, appointed Supreme State Auditor.

mag. Mojca Planinšek

Masters degree at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. Started a professional career at the Court of Audit engaging in the field of local communities audits. Appointed Supreme State Auditor for local communities in 2008. Since June 2016, holding the position of the Second Deputy President.

Helena Jenko

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. Started a professional career at the Court of Audit in 1996, where engaged mainly in auditing state budget and EU funds absorption. From July 2016 an advisor to the Second Deputy President. In September 2023, appointed Supreme State Auditor. Exercising the function of Supreme State Auditor since October 2023.

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana and obtained masters degree at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. Started a professional career at the Tax Administration of the Republic of Slovenia and in 2001 joined the Court of Audit engaged mostly in the area of state budget and local self-government audits. In February 2022, appointed Supreme State Auditor for local self-government.

Nataša Musar Mišeljić

Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. Started a professional career at the Republic Administration of Public Revenues and continued at the Court of Audit soon after its establishment, engaging in the field of audit and counselling. In 2013, appointed Supreme State Auditor and re-appointed in June 2022.

mag. Aleksej Šinigoj

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana and obtained masters degree at the Faculty of Management, University of Primorska. Started a professional career in private sector in the field of accounting and tax consultancy. In 2005, joined Court of Audit, from 2016 as Supreme State Auditor for local self-government. In February 2022, appointed Supreme State Auditor for public utility providers and public companies majority owned by the State or local self-governments.

Jerneja Vrabič

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. Started a professional career at the Tax Administration of the Republic of Slovenia. In 1999, joined the Court of Audit, where engaged in auditing and counselling. From 2016 to 2022 served as the Attaché of the Slovenian Member of the European Court of Auditors. In November 2022, appointed Supreme State Auditor.

Tadeja Pušnar

In 2001, graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. Started a professional career at the former Ministry of Labour, where engaged in the field of human resources, public procurement, legal matters, finance and investments, as well as headed a Human Resources and Common Service and was later appointed Secretary General. Since 2014, a member and later also Deputy President of the National Review Commission. Since 2023, acting as Secretary of the Court of Audit.
