Accessibility Statement

This Accessibility Statement relates to the website of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia: rs-rs.si.

In order to ensure accessibility requirements, certain systemic adjustments have been provided, such as:

responsive design (adjusting content layout to screen resolution),

  • keyboard navigation,
  • content presentation for the users of assistive technologies (i.e. screen readers),
  • appropriate colour contrasts (between text and background),
  • use of typefaces with the possibility to increase the font size,
  • important images and interactive elements are provided with descriptions,
  • no moving images (GIFs) are used,
  • descriptive link names,
  • videos are mostly equipped with subtitles,
  • predictable website operation,
  • use of different heading levels is enabled.

Compliance status

Website of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia is partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act due to the exceptions outlined in the following paragraphs.

Non-accessible content

Despite our efforts to increase accessibility and usability of our website to the greatest extent possible, some content cannot be optimised for full accessibility. Therefore, certain published content does not meet all accessibility requirements as defined by the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act. This content includes:

  • documents in PDF format:
    • most PDF documents (readable format) are audit, post-audit, summary and annual reports that are only partially accessible for the following reasons:
      • reading order is not defined for all pages (pages 1, 2, 3 and the last page),
      • tags (tag order) are not defined for all elements  (pages 1, 2, 3 and the last page) and the electronic signature tag on the last page with content,
      • the cover image and the last page do not have image descriptions (Alt Text),
      • merged cells are occasionally used in tables (mostly in the table header row),
      • graphical data representations (e.g. charts, images, diagrams) are not described in detail and do not have alternative text, as they only represent a graphical illustration of data and information that are already presented in the text,
    • fewer than 10 documents are in the form of scanned documents (PDF or TIFF format), which are published in this form due to a large amount of redacted text;
      • the redacted text represents protected data (classified data, business secrets, tax secrecy and other protected data),
      • the publication of accessible documents with redacted protected data would represent a disproportionate burden for the contracting authority and at the same time a risk of disclosure of protected data to unauthorized persons,
    • infographics in published audit reports,
    • strategies, brochures, manuals, the audit process scheme, translated international auditing standards, etc., which were prepared in formats intended for printing,
    • annual reports on the implementation of the Access to Public Information Act are not accessible because the original reporting documents were published, which were prepared in various web applications (e.g. 1KA, eGovernment) or were created before 2018,
  • for visual enhancement of news and other content we use photographs and other image and interactive material that we manage. Newer photographs and other image and interactive material, which are mostly only a graphical illustration of data and information that are already presented in the text, are generally captioned, contain source information and have alternative text entered.
  • individual infographic pages in published audit reports are in SVG format, do not have descriptions or alternative text. The preparation of descriptions and alternative text represents a disproportionate burden.
  • documentation of completed public calls (up to and including 23 September 2020) was not adapted, as intervention in the tender documentation of completed public calls is not permitted.
