For the second consecutive year, there was a signing ceremony held at the Court of Audit as part of the cooperation in joint anti-corruption combat. This year, as many as 18 partners publicly expressed their support for the International Fraud Awareness Week 2020 initiative by signing the cooperation agreement. For the purpose of raising public awareness of the issues relating to fraud, several events, conferences and round tables will be held from 16 to 20 November 2020.

Since sound financial management provides a foundation for social stability, the Court of Audit also this year participates as partner in the International Fraud Awareness Week. Namely, the Court of Audit can significantly contribute to prevention of fraud not just by raising awareness thereof but also by consistently insisting that demands for the remedy of established irregularities and inefficiencies are implemented. »Together with other partners, each in their field of operation, we want to contribute towards the completion of fraud disclosure procedures where the outcome for all involved is negative,« pointed out the President of the Court of Audit, Tomaž Vesel.
