On 14 December 2023, the President of the Court of Audit, Jana Ahčin, hosted an official visit of the President of the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Croatia, Ivan Klešić, with his delegation in Ljubljana. The main topics of bilateral discussions were preparation of the 2024 programme of work, audits implementation and tools applied by authors in the auditing process, as well as concluding audits and presenting them to the public.
The talks also touched upon other issues, including monitoring of the effects of audits, recruitment and education of employees.
The visit of the President of SAI Croatia offered an opportunity to exchange expert knowledge and strengthen mutual cooperation, with the emphasis on the importance of efficient control over public spending.
