The President of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia, Jana Ahčin, participated in the round-table discussion on the importance of audit authorities that was held as part of the 54th Public Procurement Days in Portorož. The participants also addressed the role of the public interest advocates. The President of the Court of Audit explained the relevant legal bases and whether the role of the Court of Audit is adequately addressed and properly regulated. She also discussed efficiency of the Court of Audit in implementing its role of the national supreme audit institution and what would be necessary to further maximise its efficiency. Furthermore, she touched upon the cooperation with the public interest advocates and how it is implemented.
