Organised by the Centre of Excellence in Finance (CEF) on 7 April 2021, an international online educational seminar titled Data Visualization in Audit Reporting took place, in which also the Court of Audit participated, sharing its expert knowledge on the concerned matter. The seminar was targeted at internal auditing professionals of ministries, agencies and other public sector organizations, external auditors and performance auditors of supreme audit institutions.
It opened up a discussion on efficient use of data visualization by auditors in public sector enabling them to present their findings in the most clear and understandable manner, thus additionally exposing and emphasising the main message. Their experience on the topic shared guest speakers from the European Court of Auditors (ECA), the Dutch Central Government Audit Service and the representative of the Slovenian Court of Audit who presented theoretical fundamentals and practical examples of their application.
